Vintage Santo Domingo water jar by Juanita Aguilar. A large and heavy piece with thick walls and matte black geometric decoration. Traditionally called an olla, these were used to carry water to the mesa-top pueblos of New Mexico from the natural springs below. This jar is signed by the artist on the underside.

Ceremonial mask used for dances in Mexico. Carved from light-weight wood, the composition combines a gray frog and a snake atop a wild boar head that is painted a buttermilk yellow. Called La Perra Maravilla from the state of Jalisco. Includes eye slits and signs of use.  Great wall hanging full of history and beauty.
